We have a great opportunity for an ELC Business Adminsitrator, NC Pre-K to join our growing company!

 

 

The ELC Business Administrator, NC PreK is responsible for the implementation, administration and related training needs of the designated state Pre-K Programs. This individual will work with the NC Pre K Program Manager and management team in the districts and schools to ensure CDS schools are in compliance with Pre-K programs as designated by the State of North Carolina.

Responsibilities

  • Works with NC PreK Program Manager to ensure that NC PreK applications are completed and submitted in required timeframe
  • Works with NC PreK Program Manager to ensure that contractual obligations are met at each school including contracts for staff, certifications are on file, and staff requiring continuing education are tracked
  • Monitors and reconciles monthly NC PreK attendance against payments
  • Monitors all NC PreK closures- reports to Subsidy and DM
  • Conducts regular check-ins with Directors related to program compliance and needs
  • Attends at least one provider meeting annually in each market which might include local or state level NC PreK meetings
  • Ensures that incidents are reported, and documents are sent as requested per guidelines while also informing the Region Director and NC PreK Program Manager
  • Works with NC PreK Program administrator to monitor adherence to requirements related to county and statewide platforms including but not limited to TS Gold
  • Works with NC PreK Program Manager and District Manager to notify agency of any operational changes- Director changes, hours of operations, tuition changes,
  • etc.
  • Works with NC PreK Program Manager to provide technical assistance and training related to NC PreK guidance and best practices to Directors and Assistant Directors.
  • Share any grant information with the NC PreK Program Manager.
  • NC PreK listed above refers to any statewide funded classroom such as Durham PreK, MECK PreK, etc.
  • Represent CNI when needed at meetings on a state and local level
  • Reports to the NC PreK Program Manager and assists with all tasks associated with the NC PreK program as needed and designated by supervising manager

Requirements

  • Post High School Education a plus; where required and state required certifications
  • Preschool CDA or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of knowledge in Early Childhood Education and Pre-K Program requirements at the state level. Experience in early childhood education a plus
  • Knows and understands documents and resources related to NC PreK Program, especially the NC PreK Program Requirements and Guidance
  • Ability to train and provide technical assistance by providing all appropriate documentation and training materials to the schools
  • Provides follow up to all trainings, as needed, to ensure thorough understanding by trainees and upheld strategies, initiatives and requirements
  • Flexibility in time management and approach to training
  • Highly self-motivated and organized
  • Experience with early childhood education, project management and ability to manage long-term planning
  • Basic computer skills helpful
  • Customer service focused
