We have a great opportunity for an NC Pre-K Administrator to join our growing company!

 

The NC Pre-K Administrator is responsible for supporting the implementation, administration, monitoring and related training needs for teachers and directors to drive the NC Pre-K program.

 

This position can be located in Raleigh Wilmington, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Provides on-site and virtual technical assistance and training related to Pre-K guidelines, procedures and best practices to all NC Pre-K Directors and NC Pre-K Staff
  • Provide technical assistance to DMs and Directors as it relates to the use of Substitute staff, correct coding of NC Pre-K staff hours per week to maintain compliance to the expectations and regulations of NC Pre-K
  • Collection of documentation on NC Pre-K classroom expenditures and maintain current balances – as needed for Other Resources submissions
  • Monitor NC Pre-K classroom and provide feedback- classroom observations, review necessary documents, review Site Monitoring Binder and provide guidance when needed
  • Complete written review/observation of findings each visit
  • Register classroom staff for all required trainings
  • Assist Directors/ DMs in recruiting /interviewing NC Pre-K staff when necessary
  • Assist Directors/ DMs with new enrollment in the NC Pre-K Program when necessary
  • Provide technical assistance to Directors/DMs related to Payroll and any NC Pre-K rate changes
  • Develops presentations and delivers information to individuals and groups
  • Provide inclement weather updates to assigned counties

Requirements

  • Minimum years of experience: 3 to 5 years with knowledge of NC Pre-K and formal education in ECE (Early Childhood Education) preferred
  • Educational Requirements: Minimum 2 year/associate's degree
  • Knowledge of NC Pre-K Program Guidelines
  • Knowledge of CN/CDS Company procedures and polices
  • Working knowledge of NC Pre-K Rules and Regulations
  • Knowledge of Early Childhood best practices as it relates to daily care
  • Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum, instruction methodology, and standards required
  • Effective written and oral communication skills and working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to facilitate trainings to various audience
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with district managers, school administrators, teaching staff and external business partners
  • Technical knowledge of the following systems: ProCare, Line Leader, EESU (Early Educator’s Support Unit), NCDPI (North Carolina Department of Public Instruction), Workforce, DCDEE (Department of Child Development and Early Education)
